Suspended Time

The repetitive appearance in my dreams and insomnia of a moving geometrical form pushed me to question myself about its meaning and origin.

My introspections will end up attributing this dreamlike form to my relationship to time, and more particularly to my future, punctuated and stretched by emotions.

At the same time seductive and frightening, her movement attracts us irredeemably in its mad and hypnotizing course.

Suspended Time is my allegory of the future, with its pains and joys, its doubts and certainties, and all that the future reserves to us that no one can predict but which we can already glimpse clues.

Each installation of the series is a freeze-frame of the future at a ’T’ moment that reflects a sentimental testimony of my apprehension of the future at that time.

Guests to this sound and visual experience will have the opportunity to interact with the installation, they will be able to observe my future from every possible angle, including from the inside. My intention is to make concrete a feeling almost ineffable, shared by a whole generation living in the heart of a strong revolution in the human history. Our notions of time and distance are distorted, we move faster, we have no certainties because of the cycles of knowledge that are shortened. Adaptation and life long learning will be the keys for the generations to come.
