Gracia, Monterrey

« I'm only interested in anonymous art, the kind that springs from the collective unconscious » Joan Miró

Most of the time my inspiration comes from moments of serendipity, in other words, through unexpected visual accidents. To enjoy and exalt it, it is important to embrace those moments of life and learn to observe them without preconceived ideas. Each step brings its own uniqueness, outside the idealistic aesthetic that exists virtually in our minds and that encloses us in homogeneity. The ephemeral transition state of everything is the reality we live with, and we must contemplate it.

The Gracia project consists in documenting those special moments of a city that lives, its action constantly creates amazing new visuals. I want to capture those forms that are offered in front of our eyes and make them sculptures that sublimate my stay in the City of Monterrey
